Eco-Friendly Essay Topics

Eco-Friendly Essay TopicsIf you are doing a 'green' environment writing essay, one of the best essay topics is sustainability. Think about it, how many times do you see the words sustainability in the news or on a restaurant menu?Sustainable as a word sounds good, and it sounds natural. It doesn't seem as though this type of writing will have any problems coming off as a bit too 'sustainable'. There are two problems, however, with using the word sustainable.First, people who might be considering writing an essay on sustainability won't think about ecological issues in regards to the environment. Most people have already accepted that one of the best ways to make a difference is by saving the earth, and saving the environment is the second best way to do so.Second, we cannot forget the fact that the word sustainable is not always good when writing an essay on ecology or environmental issues. If we don't mind using the word sustainable for the reader, then we have no choice but to use the word sustainable.Sustainability is not the same as sustainability. When we use the word sustainable, we mean the same thing. But as the saying goes, 'if you want something done right, do it yourself', and if we use the word sustainable in an essay, we run the risk of having an essay that is either completely off topic or that is not very credible. My suggestion is to avoid the word sustainable altogether. Instead, use the word renewable or co-evolving. This type of writing might not be as catchy as sustainability, but it will get the point across. Consider co-evolving as a way to be environmentally aware.Eco-friendly isn't bad, but if you're just trying to impress the reader, it might be a good idea to move beyond the word eco-friendly. And maybe you can come up with some other topics to talk about if the reader is unwilling to consider the word sustainable as a topic for an essay.
